Stunning!
Absolutely stunning…
My favourite of all!
Thanks Sheonad… I wondered if anyone else would like it! :)
Gorgeous picture, makes me want to go and find out what’s behind that door at the end.
Thank you! Behind the door is a big beautiful art gallery!
A great photo. I am intrigued by what the building is- the picture feels very prison-like!
Thank you! It does doesn’t it? Don’t worry I am not “inside” though, it was taken in one of Munich’s big art galleries during the week! :)
That is an awesome photo, brilliant!
Thank you! Glad you like it! :)
Intriguing shot. Nice lines
Thank you very much :)
Very dramatic perspective :)

Reminds me a little bit of a cloister – love the angle!
Thank you… I can totally see why too, it is very cloister like! :)
Great perspective
Thanks Becky! :)
I love that, a mysterious door :)
Thanks Alison, plenty of mysterious doors in this building… :)
I gasped. Stunning really stunning. *dripping with envy*
Thanks Sarah! Don’t be too jealous, we spent most of our time here being told off! :D
Gorgeous shot – my first thought was a school, but I can see from the comments that it’s an art gallery.
Thanks Erica! We have a lot of snow so it was quite brightly lit from the light from outside! :D
Love the architecture!!
Thanks Kara! :)
Wonderful in so many ways! I agree with the cloister comment – another amazing shot x
Thanks very much, glad you like it! :)
This is amazing!
Thank you SAHM! :)
Oooh this reminds me of the Minstry of Magic in the Harry Potter stories, there is a room at the end of a very long corridor that no one can get through…… Love it!
Thank you so much for linking up Emma, really appreciate it and what a awesome Photo of The Week!
Thank you Louise, I wish – that would be fantastic wouldn’t it? I would be choosing a fantastic new broomstick for a start! :D PS. you are more than welcome!
Amazing photo as always! Will not ask where it was, read the comments so I know! ;) Munich is on my list of places to go to this year.
PS: I subscribed to your blog, but I am not getting any emails when you post? I will try once more, in case I made a mistake when writing my email address the first time and let you know.
Thanks so much on both points! I can’t see you in my list of subscribers, but I will check again!
Lovely, my kids would love to run riot there.
Mine would too, but there’s no way they would get away with it, not with that gallery attendant in attendance! (see comments above!)…
What a fab shot x
Thanks Shanaz! :) x
Beautiful, just beautiful!
Thanks Annie! :)
Great photograph. An interesting bit of architecture too!
Thanks Rachel, I think it’s a great piece of architecture too! :)
So pretty. Why do you spend most of your time there being told off??
Thanks Maria! Good question, it was mostly down to an over-officious gallery attendent, who takes her job very very seriously, right down to inspecting people’s unused cameras to see whether their flash was on or not (even if they didn’t intend on taking any pictures!)… It was quite amusing. Have to say though, it is usually me (I guess I have one of those faces!), but this time it was my friend Becci, so it made a nice change! :D
Wow, fantastic picture!
Thanks Laura! :)
Wow that’s a really long hall, where is it?
It’s the Altes Pinothek in Munich, one of the big art galleries here…
What a fascinating photo! I always get excited to look at your silent sunday, you so think outside the box :)
Aw thank you! That’s a lovely compliment! :)
Stunning picture, where do you get your ideas from? xxx
Thank you! My mind works in very odd ways! :D xx
Great photo, it almost feels upside down, really interesting x
It does, doesn’t it? Thank you! xx
I love the way this draws you in and leaves you wondering where? what? and what is through the door.

Huge isn’t it? Glad I don’t have to hoover it! :D
Beautiful perspective! And a non-snow picture!
I had so many snow pictures to include, but I thought I would be different! Thank you!

Lots and lots and lots of paintings! :)
