Just sometimes you can’t beat a morning when you have nowhere to be, no one to meet, and no idea where on earth you are going. Just me to please, and a camera with a full battery. Perfect!…
Every city looks more inviting when the sun is out, but this one is really quite something!
At times though I did have to wonder whether we had moved at all, as quite a few things reminded me so much of a certain other city I also enjoyed exploring!

A gorgeous collection of photographs. The kiwi and cake shot would be ideal for The Gallery on Wednesday; theme is ‘close-up’!

Thanks very much Trish! Oooh is it? I have another pic that might be suitable as well! :)

Love that photo through the archway.
Looking at the pics makes me want to go to Munich.

Thank you! You should, it’s a lovely city, and I can always meet you and show you the best cake shops! :)

Loving these…missing Munich. Jealous! Love the Easter eggs – our kindergarteners have been learning how to blow them out and decorate them – not quite so well as the ones in your photo! Which building is that in the last 2 photos of the bottom row on the right? I feel like I should know it and I’m racking my brains…is it the Theatinerkirche?
bavaria says
Thank you MsCaroline… Egg-blowing with pre-schoolers sounds messy!! :) It is the Theatinerkirche…it’s so beautiful inside isn’t it? :)

I love the bikes.

Thank you! Did notice that one lot had super fat tyres, I think this is for the cobbles but I am not sure! :)

It’s a Munich Lion (on Odeonsplatz)! You rub their noses for good luck, hence the shiny (germy) face! (:
