Always love your crazy shots!
Thank you! Couldn’t resist this one (:
Love it! Is it a shop selling lederhosen or just some sort of random thing.
It’s a shop selling lederhosen, and the most beautiful dirndl’s… :)
A boxer shorts shop? Cure sign!
I imagine you might find them in there as well, but it mostly sells traditional dress for the area… :)
Lovely shot. We all know where to go for our dirndls now!
Thank you! I might have bought one this week too ;) Just not at this shop!
WOW great,,, pics I thought I took crazy pics of my cat xx
Thank you :)
Oh that’s fabulous!! :-)
Thank you (:
Another great photo from you, such a cool sign for selling lederhosen…
Thanks Frankie :) I wonder how long it has been hanging there! (:
LOVE this!
Thanks Steph (:
Love it!
Thank you Planet Penny (:
a lederhosen shop?
new lederhosen?
Indeed! Not yet, just liked the sign (in Salzburg)… I need to actually get some for the boy soon though. Husband is not allowed them, although I think he would quite like some :D…
fab photo!
and please, what’s a dirndl?
A dirndl is the traditional dress for the women of Bavaria, and for those trying to blend in at certain events… I might post a pic of mine soon enough, but perhaps not with me in it!! (:
Heh heh super cool as always!
Aww thank you Mrs! (:
Wow! Great sign!
Thank you! I appear to be in the land of great signs (although this particular one is in Austria!):..
Great shot! Love your blog :)
Thank you very much :)
lovely shot,.. always love looking at your intresting photos :) x
Aww thank you Sarah! Likewise! :)
Fabulous! You are clearly living in a city with HUGE Silent Sunday content!
xx Jazzy
It definitely inspires me! :) xx
That’s fantastic, I love it!
Thank you Kate (:
How unusual. Is it a shop sign. Is looks like something out of an RPG.
I dread to think what kind! :D It is indeed a shop sign (:
Cool. Reminds me of Bierfest- what I can remember of it anyhow.
Thank you! You didn’t experience the real thing if you can remember anything!! (:
Oh wow! What is it? A shop sign? Or is it really pants?
A shop sign – for leather pants… well, trousers kind of anyway! :)
What a distinctive shop sign! My mother-in-law tried to pass some toddler lederhosen onto us but I thought it was a bit impractical. I’d love a fabulous dirndl skirt though :-)
Hmmm… The very fact that you can’t wash them does make them slightly impractical toddler wear, might have been good to take a pic for future blackmail purposes though! Thanks Ruth! :)
Really fun picture, love it!
Thank you very much (:
Can’t help but snigger at your bloomers!
:) But sometimes (and on the right man of course) they don’t look that unattractive! Honest!
You always make me smile with your SS xx
Thanks Mari, likewise! Yours especially looked delicious this morning (: xx
Surfs up
:D I think you might sink pretty quickly if these got wet though!!
love this. great capture.
Thanks Sarah (:
Oh…was so hoping this was going to be a really unique pub sign!!!
Do you know, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one here somewhere though (:
It always made me laugh that people assume lederhosen are historical costumes when you actually see them in the street every day of the week in the south. I’m feeling all nostalgic now so thanks for the memories.
There were lots of people out and about in traditional dress for starkbier season recently… :)
Lovely to get shots of interesting little oddities around town :)
Thank you! Plenty of them about here, believe me! :)
Loved this sign – should have guessed it was in Salzburg! Always love your photos, such a delight for me!
Thank you Ms Caroline, that’s very kind of you to say so! Yes, first visit! Loved it! :)
Ah, Bavaria…where even pants on signs are charming.
Thanks Manana Mama, you are quite correct! :)
:)) this made me smile! love these little details every time i pop in.
Thank you Pia, that’s kind of you :)
I love your photos each week. Lederhosen I take it?
You are right! Thank you very much, glad you like them! :)
