They look very sculptural
Thank you, they do don’t they? I am just glad we spotted them before we fell over them! :)
Wow that is an amazing shot, well done x
Thank you (:
Wow – you could easily miss them couldn’t you? Often wonder where deer hide away during the day.
Yep, they are quite well hidden… Soon stood up when we went past with a pony though :)
That’s amazing! I didn’t twig they were stags at first (they are, right?) but was admiring some tasteful and inventive public art!
They are indeed! We walked around the corner, and there they all were… There are plenty of them free rein in this particular park (Bushy Park in Teddington), or in Richmond Park! They usually ignore you unless you have a dog bothering them! :D
Oh my goodness your so lucky to have seen them and even better to have got that shot on camera what a great photo
Thanks Helen…It brought back lots of lovely memories as we used to live around the corner from this park, and would visit it daily :) x
They’re stags? I don’t think I’ve even seen a whole pack of them. Where did you see these?
They live in Bushy Park in Teddington, South West London… You don’t have to look very hard for them when you’re there either :)
perfect shot, they really are rather well hidden aren’t they!
Natural camouflage! :) Thanks Sarah!
They are so well hidden in the long grass, what a great photo!
Thanks Helen (:
Wonderful antler collection! Well caught
Thanks Becky… I thought it was more effective than the one where they are all standing up! :)
Isn’t it wonderful when you come across wild animals like that? Fantastic shot!
It’s just so nice that they are free to wander about! Thank you :)
That’s such a clever photo – thought they were interesting twisted branches until I looked a bit harder! What a wonderful thing to see x
Thank you :) x
Strange looking bushes you have over there!!
Great shot :-)
Aren’t they just?… Thank you :)
That is an amazing shot. What a wonderful sight to stumble across. x
Thank you (: x
Lovely picture. I wasn’t sure what it was at first glance x
Neither was I when I first saw them, I thought it was a load of dead trees. I haven’t ever seen that many lying down in a group! :) x
Lovely shot – was just about to say it looked like Richmond Park when I read some of the other comments and realised it was close by -guess you are not in Bavaria right now then?!
I am back now… Just as the sun comes out in the UK :/ Typical! Thank you :)
How do you do it?! Fabulous shot. Happy Sunday.
Aw thank you! You too Mrs :) x
they look like pieces of art left in a field, they look great just poking above the long grass. great shot
They do don’t they. I actually thought they were a load of dead branches at first. Luckily, I managed a trip to the opticians when I was back…
I hope they don’t think they’re hiding ;).
Hiding from the ladies by the looks of things :)
Great photo. They are very impressive antlers.
Thank you. I would be proud of them if I was a deer! :)
Fab capture, great that this can be seen in the city too.
Thanks very much Jo :)
If cows lying down mean rain … why does deer lying down mean.
great shot x
Thank you! I think it means that England is definitely due for some sunshine, and apparently they were right?? :) x
Wow, that is a fantastic picture!
Thank you, glad you like it (:
Wow, what a brilliant photo – its fabulous to catch them in their natural place xx
Thank you! They have been there for almost 600 years. It’s just strange to see them in such a suburban environment! :)
awesome photo – it is a strange environment to see them in but we’re so fortunate to be able to do so! We have small muntjack deer living on the railway line (not very bright ones I imagine!) in the middle of our city – I’m always pleased to see them!
Thank you! Used to love taking guests there, they were usually really surprised to see them! Your little deer sound incredibly brave! We had daily deer visitors to our garden when we lived in Denmark, I was so upset when the Spring came and they disappeared! :(
Ooh, floating antlers! Lovely shot :)
Love that description! Thank you (:
Brilliant shot darling – well caught! Mx
Ta Ma xxx
You astound me with your photography shots – every week! This is just an incredible moment, so well caught.
Thanks so much Suzanne, that’s very kind of you :)

Fantastic.
Thank you! :) x
Wow, that is amazing! I always love your photo’s. x

Lovely picture. Well spotted, they are rather well camoflaged
Thanks Alison :)
Wow this is a amazing shot :)
Thanks Claire (:
What a beautiful shot! Love antlers on deer! x
Thank you… Me too, bet they don’t need to search for long to find something to hang their clothes on either! :D
