I love the mountains in the back of that shot. That’s really beautiful!
Thank you! This was taken in an especially beautiful part of Bavaria…
That makes me want to run up the nearest mountain and start singing ‘the hills are alive…’! Amazing landscape
Salzburg’s only about 8 miles from here so you wouldn’t be out of place! :)

Thanks very much Lisa, will write more about it during the week, but it’s such a stunning area!
Love, love, love….every time I look at your blog, I get so nostalgic for Bavaria…some of the best times of my life. The US Army base here in Seoul is presently kicking off its Oktoberfest – (we have access to it through my husband’s job, although he’s not in the military) and we stopped and had a Paulaner this afternoon while running some errands….not quite the same thing, but I will take what I can get! ; )
Thanks so much Caroline… I am glad you get a little taste of Bavaria in Seoul too, and a Paulaner or two can’t be bad! Bierfest season has started, and even though we have a couple of weeks before Oktoberfest starts, the more local ones are in full swing! :)
Looks such a lovely area…
Thanks Penny, it’s very scenic! :)

Gorgeous aren’t they? Teeny tiny bits of snow dotted about on them too!
I see the lonely goatherd!
The lonely goatherd who shortly after went paddling in the icy cold lake! The kids loved it there! :)
What a fabulous view. You are residing in a truly beautiful country….
