beautiful roses for those you love
do someone buy one for you?
am loving your silent sundays, emma – truly one of my highlights of the week
xx
Thank you Sheonad, that’s such a lovely comment! :) xx
Great capture, those roses look incredible! :)
Thank you! You have to be very careful about revealing people’s identities in pictures here, so this worked as it was a back view, and I just liked the flowers! :)
Lovely shot! Is that at Oktoberfest?
It surely is! :)
Gorgeous roses….hope you were brought one?
Not this time… It was quite funny seeing all the half cut blokes buying them for people though! :D
Gorgeous! Love how the red stands out. xx
Thank you! That’s what I liked too! :)
Love this shot ,wonder who is getting some beautiful roses ? :)
Thank you! Actually, I felt quite sorry for those that did receive them. It was mostly drunken men buying them! :D
Lovely pic, I will have a beer instead of a flower tho please! ;)
Likewise! ;)
I hope someone special gave her those. There is so much in this photo if you look around the girl – I love all the little other details.
It was her job to sell them, they were beautiful though, so much nicer than the garage type flowers that get sold in the pubs in the UK…
Gorgeous roses – what’s the story behind them? Is she selling them? Or did someone give them to her? Looks like the season of the Bierfest is well and truly underway!
Yes, she was selling them… Oktoberfest ended today. I will not miss the drunken tourists and the piles of sick everywhere! :D
pretty roses, where are you tho? looks intresting x
I was at Oktoberfest, so much to photograph here! :)
Fabulous colours – is that Oktoberfest?
It is indeed… The Hofbrau tent! :D
Oh what beautiful flowers :-)
Thanks very much Jess! :)
I so want a hat with a feather in it too!
It can be arranged! :D
Are they hiding behind those roses? Great picture.
No, she was probably trying to get them to buy some. It was only about 12.30, but I think they had been in there a long time! :D
Lovely photo, the red roses look amazing xx
Thanks very much (:
Those roses are beautiful but I’m distracted by her check skirt. Love the blue black colour combo :-)
The traditional dress is very pretty here… Thank you! :)
Oooh, that looks like Oktober fest? Lovely flowers :)
And you would be right! Thank you very much :)
I started humming ‘who will buy my sweet red roses’ when I saw your silent Sunday :)
:) Thank you!
That’s gorgeous.
Thank you Jax! :)
Proof, if any were needed, that people really do wear hats like that in your neck of the woods. Great shot.
And I have plenty more proof where that came from, I just need to be more organised to do a couple of posts to show you! :D Thanks! x
Beautiful red roses
Thanks very much Dawn! :)
One day I will get there!
You must you must! :)
I love roses, especially red roses! Great photo! :) x
They are lovely aren’t they? Thank you! :)
Gorgeous shot, the flowers are amazing
Thanks Alison! :)
i love that this hints at some much – her traditional skirt, her identity, the identity of the other drinkers, if she might be selling them or carrying a gift – fabulous!
Thanks so much… She was definitely selling them. To drunken, amourous blokes! :D
Lads from swimming baths went to that. Lovely roses.
I wonder if I saw them there! Thank you :)
Lovely shot, bet it is a great place to people watch :)
It’s a fantastic place to people watch! Such a lot going on! Thank you! :)
A lively Oktoberfest tent has got to be a good place to sell roses! Lovely photo :)
Definitely! And all the other bits and pieces such as pickles, pretzels, and gingerbread too! :)
Absolutely beautiful roses!
Thanks very much Kelly! :)
Great picture, love the colours (and her outfit)!
Aw thank you! :)
Those roses are amazing – they almost don’t look real, they’re so perfect!!
Thanks so much :)
Have you been Oktoberfestering??? I was in Munich for it in, let’s see… it must have been 1998. There are some very merry photos of me looking all young holding a Maß, as time and drinks went past it became easier and easier to hold and the pretzels were VERY nice. I was so impressed by the waitresses going past holding several of them in each hand! Hope you had a lovely time
Aw thanks Maria! Yes, I went a couple of times in the end… Those pretzels are just good, but what a good idea to sell them to the masses to soak up all that beer! :)
Stunning picture x
Thanks very much! :)
So red, and SO gorgeous!
Thanks Steph! :)
