awesome photo – it is a strange environment to see them in but we’re so fortunate to be able to do so! We have small muntjack deer living on the railway line (not very bright ones I imagine!) in the middle of our city – I’m always pleased to see them!
Thank you! Used to love taking guests there, they were usually really surprised to see them! Your little deer sound incredibly brave! We had daily deer visitors to our garden when we lived in Denmark, I was so upset when the Spring came and they disappeared! :(
Lovely shot – was just about to say it looked like Richmond Park when I read some of the other comments and realised it was close by -guess you are not in Bavaria right now then?!
They are indeed! We walked around the corner, and there they all were… There are plenty of them free rein in this particular park (Bushy Park in Teddington), or in Richmond Park! They usually ignore you unless you have a dog bothering them! :D

they look like pieces of art left in a field, they look great just poking above the long grass. great shot

They do don’t they. I actually thought they were a load of dead branches at first. Luckily, I managed a trip to the opticians when I was back…

They’re stags? I don’t think I’ve even seen a whole pack of them. Where did you see these?

They live in Bushy Park in Teddington, South West London… You don’t have to look very hard for them when you’re there either :)
