I am in France at the moment. \u00a0 Land of wine, and beautiful, but very rich food.<\/p>\n

I couldn’t live here, as much as I would like to –\u00a0 I would be the size of a barn in a matter of months.<\/p>\n

The Seven Year Old takes after both her parents in the “wanting to try every kind of food in the Universe” department, and after following a tantalising waft of garlic and chilli peppers, came across these in the food market yesterday.<\/p>\n

She was so desperate to try one, but I captured her expression (she has post-swimming pool hair just in case you’re wondering!) when the snail was finally uncoiled from the shell and revealed in its entirety….<\/p>\n

Not so appealing?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Not quite so appealing after all.\u00a0\u00a0 She didn’t ask for any more strangely enough…<\/p>\n
