From the Top – Zugspitze\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I am not sure I have ever seen the sky as deep a shade of blue as I have standing at the top of the Zugspitze\u00a0 (Germany’s tallest mountain<\/a>), where the silence was only broken by the aeroplane you can just about see in the top right hand corner of this photograph, and possibly by the sound of my knees knocking together – having made the petrifying mistake of looking down…<\/p>\n

But life is for living, and sometimes it’s good to do things that other people might consider completely mad. So, at the beginning of April, we will have a real family adventure at the top of this particular mountain, and (at the moment) I can’t wait!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I won’t go into too much detail now, but will of course report back after the event.\u00a0 \u00a0 If we don’t get eaten by strange looking creatures such as this, that apparently (if the shop windows are to be believed) run wild in the area…<\/p>\n
