There’s a little corner of my green and pleasant land that’s a completely different shade at the moment…<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s easy to see this spectacle for yourself too – just find some woodland<\/a>, follow the sweet and heady perfume (which is a good indicator that you have found the ancient native species by the way- the Spanish version has no smell!), and you will find British bluebell season well and truly in full bloom. \u00a0This is definitely one of my favourite times of year at home – which is where we spent Easter if you think I have been a little quiet of late!…<\/p>\n

These carpets of blue change colour by the minute – \u00a0depending on the light and the time of day you visit them, but one thing doesn’t change (and probably hasn’t over centuries), the generations of families that turn out to pay homage to these beautiful flowers, ours included…<\/p>\n

Ps. \u00a0 Some of you might recognise the first British Blues picture at the very top. \u00a0 I took it three years ago when we were visiting from Copenhagen, and it’s still my favourite of my bluebell picture collection!<\/p>\n
