We haven’t been back to England for Easter for a little while, but this year we managed it, spending time with family first in South West London before moving down south for Easter itself.<\/p>\n

I am not a religious person, but the older I get the more I appreciate Easter for the big family gatherings (without any of the pressure of Christmas, and minus the present buying!), the start of Spring, and the hot cross bun eating opportunities.<\/p>\n

Our time in London was taken up with treasured family get togethers and meeting my tiny nephew for the first time, along with walks along the river, and the niceness of being amongst familiar streets plus the great shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n

Richmond lock on a cloudy afternoon. Had a lovely wander and a walk along the Thames Path before tea. So nice to be home. #richmond #thames #swlondon<\/a><\/p>\n
