Cultural York<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Thanks to the never-ending upcoming move, I might have forgotten to mention one little thing…<\/p>\n

As of recently, I find myself in outstanding company in hosting the Cultured Kids linky along with Catherine from Cultural Wednesday’s<\/a>, Iona of Zenbaby Travel<\/a>, Scarlett of Diary of a Londoness<\/a> and Megan of Truly Madly Kids<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0Except I should say that thanks to being all over the place currently, they have all hosted thus far and I have looked like the truly disorganised person that I am right now, but there we are (sorry ladies!)…<\/p>\n

This week I am co-hosting with the fabulous Scarlett, which means that you should all pop over to her blog Diary of a Londoness<\/a> (which is jam-packed with great London tips anyway) and join in with the linky…<\/p>\n

If you have had any kind of cultural experience with your children recently, whether it be museum, theatre, music, film, dance, art, galleries, historic homes, exhibitions, travel, this is most definitely the place for you to add your posts and for us to share them!<\/p>\n

Favourite posts chosen by last month’s hosts (Zenbaby Travel<\/a> and Truly Madly Kids<\/a>) were Inspirational Stories from the Lake District<\/a>, Amman with Kids<\/a>, Afternoon Tea at the Houses of Parliament<\/a>, and what would have to be a personal favourite of mine (anything that feature’s Sacher Torte!) Vienna, the City of Music<\/a> (it’s a city on my “would most like to live in” list!)…<\/p>\n

We’ve actually had quite a cultured few days of it ourselves in York up until yesterday, which included visits to The Minster (naturally!), A shiver inducing Ghost walk,\u00a0 a thorough nose around The Yorkshire Museum, a quick look at the outside of the Medieval Adventurer’s Hall, and an inspection of the gardens of the Treasurers Hall.\u00a0 \u00a0I would have liked to have actually gone inside the last two, but sadly the Toddler had other ideas.\u00a0 \u00a0He did approve of the Railway Museum<\/a>, unsurprisingly as it’s the largest in the world, and trains are very much his thing.\u00a0 \u00a0I have a very picture heavy posts coming up.<\/p>\n
