We were awoken this morning at an ungodly hour by a hideous screeching coming from outside (thankfully).\u00a0\u00a0 Instead of being annoyed about this however, both of us turned to each other and said “Do you think that’s Kes?”\u00a0\u00a0 Because Kes (the only kind of pet we are ever likely to have)<\/a> hasn’t been seen for over a week now.\u00a0 And for all my moaning about having to tidy up after him, I actually miss him.<\/p>\n

I often work from our bedroom as it has the best views over the surrounding countryside, and I used to see him going out hunting, or winging it back swiftly if the weather was bad. He didn’t like the rain very much.\u00a0\u00a0 But now he’s gone…<\/p>\n

I wonder if it is my fault that he’s left?\u00a0 If he’s been disturbed too many times now that the weather is much warmer and the windows are constantly being opened?\u00a0\u00a0 I am hoping that he left for love-nest reasons, as he was spotted a few times with a “friend” before he disappeared.\u00a0 I just hope that our little feathered (but incredibly messy) friend is happy out there somewhere.<\/p>\n

And if for whatever reason your new home doesn’t work out Kes (yes I know it’s unlikely he’s going to be reading this), then just come back!\u00a0 Your balcony and your hunting grounds await you.<\/p>\n
