You might be pleased to hear that the “Beast From the East” won’t be visiting England just yet, he’s having far too much fun here.\u00a0\u00a0 As I type, the temperature is around -15 and falling, but even when it’s as cold as this Munich doesn’t half look beautiful in the sun…<\/p>\n

(The Sunrise this morning on the way to school (and once we had managed to get the frozen garage door open!) – the first time I have ever witnessed “snow fog” too, which luckily didn’t hang around for long)…<\/p>\n

I might have been a little over-enthusiastic in my bid to capture the stunning day, and made Mr R climb the 302 steps to the top of the PetersKirche <\/a>with me, in the hope that we would see the mountains from the top.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It’s a long way up, and the stairs are very narrow in places, so it’s not for the faint-hearted (definitely glad I didn’t have the Small People with me for this one!), but at least we weren’t cold once we got to the top, and the views when you get there are well worth the effort!<\/p>\n

No Mountains this time, just a birds eye view of the city, the shoppers at the Christmas Markets below (more on them later!), and thousands of white rooftops…\u00a0\u00a0 I haven’t adjusted any of the colour on these pictures by the way, the sky really was that blue…<\/p>\n
