Thank you so much… I just had to laugh at his sudden burst of energy to rush back and get the boots off. I didn’t tell him that the boots are exactly the reason that skiing and I don’t get on! (:
Wow what a winter wonderland! Looks just beautiful, I love the look of your little man inbetween all those huge trees!! What is the splash of colour in the background??
Thank you as always Emma for linking up with Photo of The Week I really appreciate it :)
P.S I nominated you for the Mad Blogs in the Photography section, I always adore your photos. I hope that was ok XXXXX
What a gorgeous photo! Reminds me of a Christmas I spent in Germany and it snowed overnight on Christmas Eve and we went on a walk Christmas day through the snowy forest :)
Stunningly beautiful shot as ever. What a scene to work with, eh? Midlife Singlemum hit the nail on the head when she likened it to Narnia. Happy Sunday.
Not so crazy about the snow (we’re getting more as I type) but love the photo. The little red boots are such a bright little spot of color against all the white and dark trees!
Thanks Sonya, he was so funny… He had been complaining about how tired he was, but suddenly got a burst of energy when he realised how close he was to take those “blinking boots” off! :D
Unfortunately not… Only Austria this time… Small People had a long lesson, and this was the Five Year old marching back as quickly as he could to get his ski boots off. He had definitely had enough! It was a successful day though, and this view of the back of him just made me laugh! :)

Thank you! You will be able to take your little one in a couple of years! :)
Gorgeous! The red of the boots and the red through the trees ties it together so beautifully :)

Just gorgeous. I love the little bits of colour that are showing.
Thanks Cathy! Glad you like it! :)
Ohh, there’s a splash of colour through the trees there…
Yes, I think it might be a coach. Not so Narnia like! :D
Wow love the way the forest makes us look so very small on this planet, awesome capture x
Thanks Dawn… We are but ants in the scheme of things! :D
breathtaking scenery and it looks like there is someone in too much of a hurry to take it in!
I think he had definitely had enough of the scenery! Although he did say he wanted to go again this morning, so it can’t of been that bad! :D
What a beautiful photo, all our snow is gone (thank goodness!)
Thanks Maria! I think we have a while to go before Spring arrives here! :D
It’s a magical shot.
Thanks Erica! He didn’t sound very magical, moaning away! :D
What a dramatic snowy forest x
Thank you Claire! :)
ah so lovely to read about ski lessons. My kids really enjoyed the times we went skiing. Love the trees x
Thanks Sarah, the younger they start the better! Saves all the agony of starting as a grown up, and failing, like me! :) x
Wow! You still have so much snow? Very atmospheric. xx
This was taken in Austria yesterday. Although it’s snowing here as we speak :/
That is a beautiful photo, almost looks like the front of a greeting card!
Thanks Kelly! :)

Oh wow, that’s beautiful. It’s like a Christmas card!
Thank you… there was lots of snow there yesterday! :)
Another trip to Narnia? So dramatic with the big trees and the small boy.
Unfortunately not… Only Austria this time… Small People had a long lesson, and this was the Five Year old marching back as quickly as he could to get his ski boots off. He had definitely had enough! It was a successful day though, and this view of the back of him just made me laugh! :)
What a beautiful photo.
Thank you Sarah… He just looked so tiny amongst these huge trees. And determined to get back to take his ski boots off! :D
