Fabulous! Love the lighting – as you say, would probably have lost some of its intensity if it had been a brighter day. Sounds like another really fun outing :)
I’m fairly sure that’s Otto Lilienthal’s Doppeldecker or double decker. And no, no air plane geek, but we learnt about him in primary school because he was somewhat of a local where I grew up in Germany x
The colours, light and shadows are all lovely. I would have asked where it was taken but you’ve answered that in other comments. My kids love science museums, Munich is one to remember if we’re ever there.
Thank you! It was taken at the quite brilliant Deutsches Museum in Munich yesterday, on such a dark and dreary day. I think that helped with the light though! :D

Such a photo and what an amazing old age flying contraption! x
Thank you SBM! :)
Amazing, it reminds me a bit of a Da Vinci sketch of one of his inventions. Very cool!
Thank you! That’s what it reminded me of as well! :)
Fabulous! Love the lighting – as you say, would probably have lost some of its intensity if it had been a brighter day. Sounds like another really fun outing :)
It was, thank you! :)

You wouldn’t catch me hanging from that, it looks so fragile! Fantastic shot Emma :-D
I know right. Definitely wouldn’t want to do anything long haul in it! Thank you… :) x

Great shot, Now is that first, business or economy class?
He has a top hat on, must be first! :D
Wow!
Thanks Colette! :)
Wow, can you imagine how exciting it must have been for those first intrepid pilots?
I think they must have been quite passionate about it… Either that or completely nuts! :D
Great pic!!!
Thanks Leslie! :)
Beautiful, the perspective, the colours. There’s nothing like a day at the museum to brighten dark winter days, right?
Completely! I love them in the summer too though, when nobody has the same idea! :D Thank you…
Fantastic shot
Thank you ! (:

Thank you Cathy! :)
Very fascinating photo x x x
Thanks so much! Glad we don’t fly like this now, although it would be far better for the planet!
Beautiful, looks like many this morning on Silent Sunday think of travelling, journeys…etc.
Thank you! :)
Great photo, I don’t think I’d fancy flying in it though!
Me neither! Thank you! :D
What a great photo, looks like Da Vinici’s flying mahine. Would be a great place to take the kids x
Thank you! My two love it there! :)

Lovely shot, the colours are wonderful
Thanks Amanda! :)
Fabulous colour! Where is this?
In the biggest science Museum I have ever been too in Munich! :) Thank you…
Is that one of Leonardo Da Vincis inventions? I think I remember seeing sketches similar to it in Rome.
Do you know I am not sure? I was too busy taking a picture of it and forgot to read the sign! It’s lovely though isn’t it? Thank you…
Amazing man/woman in their flying machine. Great light, great perspective (love the blue and the yellow)….wondering where it is!
Thank you! It was taken at the quite brilliant Deutsches Museum in Munich yesterday, on such a dark and dreary day. I think that helped with the light though! :D
