These are such beautiful things.. have you ever looked closely at each delicate little seed and it’s amazing carrier. An inspiring natural work of art. Your photo’s pretty too, love the depth and can’t believe how many dandelions there are there, just waiting for a breath of air…
Pretty! It’s been blowy here so most of the dandelions seem to have lost their clocks unfortunately (either that or someone’s been secretly blowing them all!)
But the extent of them is implied by the background. It is a photo of layers. Very very clever. Now if you tell me it was a quick snap whilst you kept one eye on the children I shall grump rather a lot. I would have been on my hands and knees taking multiple pics for nothing half so good :)
Thank you! I did take a few don’t worry! Twas a boiling hot day, and lots of walkers were giving me strange looks as I sat on the floor to take it! Some of them obviously thought I was German as well as they weren’t and I could understand what they were saying!! :)

oooh I have seen a lot of those this week. xx
There are thousands of them here right now too :) xx
Aww that’s beautiful and although I don’t like them in my garden as they spread like wildfire I do like them in the wild
Thanks Mari. I am not showing you a picture of our front lawn right now #timetogetthemowerout! :)
Another fab shot.
Thanks Mrs :)
Love it! I love dandelions, they are just so beautiful! Really great picture :)
Thank you (:
Snap indeed :) x
Great minds! :)
Ooo, the urge to puff up and blow.
These were stuck fast! I did try and blow it to get a kind of action picture, but it wasn’t having any of it :D
Oh wow, i very nearly had an exact photo as my Silent Sunday today! I love yours, fab! x
Thanks Mama S. Will pop over to yours now! :)
ohh what a lovely field of dandelion clocks
Thanks Sarah, it was enormous! :)
Oh I love your photos so much – they make me smile ever week :D
Aw thank you :D
Wonderful shot. I’m not the biggest fan of dandelions, but close up they are rather lovely.
Thank you very much :)
Fab shot. They are so pretty in some ways, but such thugs in others.
Thank you! I have a special root killing tool… You can borrow it if you like! :)
love this, your depth of field is perfect. I dont think ive even seen so many dandelions in the same place. Im surprised you got past it at all!!
Thank you Sarah! The Germans don’t seem to mind lowenzahn (dandelions, which translates as lions teeth!) as much as we do! :)
Cool photo, i don’t get the” blow on it for the time”.. Another quirky english thing perhaps????
It’s a dandelion clock! How many blows it takes to clear all the seeds is what time it is!! :)
great shot – my boys would have hours of fun there :)
I am going to take my two after school next week one afternoon! Should keep them quiet for a while! :)
Fantastic photo!
Thanks Emma (:
I love fluffy dandelions. They look so dreamy.
Great photo.
There were plenty of them here Natalie. Just glad it wasn’t my garden!! :)
What time is it :) great shot…
Thanks Claire :)
Lovely photo.
Thank you :) There were so many I couldn’t get a pic that did the field justice, so I settled for just one! :)

Blow on it see what time it is.
It was thankfully school time. With that amount of dandelions we would have been there for the whole day!! :)
