Couldn’t resist this typical English Seaside deckchair scene in Bournemouth. I have a bit of a thing about deckchairs, apart from the fact they are usually so uncomfortable to sit in!!

I have a thing about beach huts – especially in winter. So British. :)

What a great photo. It really is quintessentially English. You’ve got me thinking now about how difficult they are to get out of once you’ve sat down!
Emma says
You kind of need a phone at hand in case you need to call a friend to help push you out! :D Thanks Sarah! :)

Funny that you should mention how uncomfortable deck chairs are. I used to provide some beautiful teak ones from Ghana that my parents bought when they got married there in 1966 at my gîte until someone gently suggested perhaps they’d passed their prime!!! They looked beautiful though! Love you photo, I can understand “having a thing” about them.
Emma says
What a shame… Did you get them restored? They sound gorgeous! Thanks Phoebe! :) x

Great photo. I love deck chairs but I never think of them all stacked up like that :)

They’re also really hard to get out of! Though do like the look of them too, and love the clever way you’ve taken this photo x

Just so British, looks like our weather too. My parents used to have them when we were kids and I hated putting them up, I always seemed to get stuck in them #MySundayPhoto
Emma says
I remember getting fingers trapped in them! :D Thanks Mary! (:
