Thank you…. I thought he was nice sat there with all his friends. I am going to send you some of our snow OK? It hasn’t stopped all day and it’s sticking fast! It’s at times like these that I bemoan the fact that we have lived in Germany and Scandinavia… Nothing stops!! :) x
Lovely photo – looks like he’s a regular? Must be hard for the ducks and geese when it’s so cold and frosty, or are these ones always well fed by visitors?
Another stunning image. -10 oh my goodness. I’ve just replenished all our bird feeders, we have one that sticks to the window, it’s great for viewing, and amazing for children to get a good look. I think they’re Egyptian geese in your photograph, I wonder where they started their journey to end up being fed inthe park by a kind soul? x
I am off to do ours as we speak! Thanks for the lovely comment, I had no idea they were Egyptian Geese… You have to wonder what on earth they are doing in the cold then! :D
Brrr -10 degrees that’s cold during the day. It was -3 here in East Anglia this week but that was early in the morning! I bet those geese were grateful for their free grub!
Aw, I love ducks, this photo has reminded me just how much…. and just how much of a hypocrite I am that I also love duck pancakes with plum sauce. Doh. Great photo!
