Are you ready for your close up Madam? Not quite??
This week’s theme over at The Gallery is “Extreme Close Up” and I thought this picture was perfect. The shiny brand new front teeth will take a while for her face to grow into, and they make her seem so grown up. The chocolate around her mouth reassures me that she’s not all that grown up after all, (she might get the chocolate bit from me however!)
Unfortunately for my current highly abnormal fitness regime (and our bank balance), a rather fabulous ice cream shop has opened up not all that far from school. A clever business plan if ever I saw one!! And finally, last week it was warm enough to indulge… First ice cream of the year, Spring has well and truly arrived!…

Great photo! and i am jealous about anyone experiencing Spring! Enjoy :)
Thank you! Spring decided it wasn’t quite ready and it’s gone back to Winter today! :S
love that new tooth, and chocolatey mouth!
we’re yet to have the first ice-cream of the year – it’s always the best one. this weekend, i think.
Thanks Pia… Enjoy :)
Yum!! And a perfect photo for the theme. We are experiencing some extremely unusually warm sunshine here in Ireland at the moment. DEFINITELY Ice-cream weather but I’m fighting the urge…
xx Jazzy
Thanks Jazzy… Quick unfight it, it’s going to get cold again – just in time for Easter! :/
Great photo! V clever use of colour too. I had my first ice cream of the year just yesterday – a bog standard Magnum but the day was so hot and it had been so long since I’d had one that I genuinely thought it was the best ice cream I’d ever had! Isn’t Spring fabulous?!
Spring is definitely the best I think. And I wouldn’t say no to a Magnum, especially an almond one! :)
Haha! Brilliant photo! Very creative!
Thank you Mrs Tee :)
Lucky you – we’re not far behind you, though! Love those big-girl teeth!
Thanks Ms Caroline, hope you are well? Great to hear that things are warming up! :)
And chocolate too…after school, with mum, warm enough for ice cream, doesn’t get anymore perfect than that!
Yep… very true :) I ended up with an icecream not to my liking having been forced to swap with The Five Year old… :/ x
ice cream = happiness and that’s a fact!
end of story

You are quite right! :) x
