Thanks Merlinda. Strangely Dahlia’s don’t smell of anything, and neither do Gladioli! I reckon the farmer who planted them has a wife who buys lots of really heavily scented flowers like lillies and jasmine etc. :D
Thank you! I hated them once upon a time they just seemed the kind of flower that fitted in the carnation category, but in Denmark huge multicoloured bunches of them would appear in the autumn, and I just fell in love with them! :) x
