Beautiful close up, the colours are gorgeous. My Grandad is an inspiration to me too and I feel very blessed to still have him in my life at my age :-D
I love the colours, your granddad sounds an inspiration. I really love it when the colours come together like this, almost accidental, something I can never manage to recreate even when I try!
Your Grandfather sounds amazing, wonderful he still paints in oils and so beautifully too – spotted the picture in your previous post. Love the messy mix of colours x
Gorgeous photo :) My dad is an artist too although more line drawing than painting. But I live the smell and density of oils, and the mess! Thank you so much for sharing this. x
That looks fabulously creative (just read the other comments – how inspiring that your Grandad still paints). I’m not good with kids and paint mess but it’s OK with grown-ups (more contained!)
Thank you Sarah… I took it when visiting my grandparents last week. My Gramps is 92 but still paints, writes and takes amazing photos. He’s one of my heros! :)

An artist at work x Great colours
Thank you Shahnaz!
This is the part of art I hate – the messy bit. Good photo though.
I actually like this part too, the more mess the better! Thank you :)
What a fabulous close-up. Is it you creating something artistic or someone else?
Thank you Sarah… I took it when visiting my grandparents last week. My Gramps is 92 but still paints, writes and takes amazing photos. He’s one of my heros! :)
I was about to ask the same question. Kudos to your Gramps! x
Thanks Claire! :)
It must be so inspiring to see his spirit, at his age. I’m so tempted to pan across the photograph to see the painting!
He is pretty incredible… Nothing seems to phase him, not even the latest technology that usually has me baffled! Thank you :)
