Thanks Annie! I think we need to arrange one big epic trip to Munich so you can come and appreciate these surfers, and maybe pay a visit to a few bier halls as well! :D
Oh thats one of my favourite Munich places … and a fab photo – I bet no where else in the world you could take a surfing picture framed with Chestnut leaves! xx
Wow. Firstly that’s a fantastic photo. Secondly, I’ve never seen river surfing – how do you have surf on a river? (I have seen the Severn tidal bore but that’s really near the sea).

Wow. Firstly that’s a fantastic photo. Secondly, I’ve never seen river surfing – how do you have surf on a river? (I have seen the Severn tidal bore but that’s really near the sea).
Thank you… The water in the Eisbach is pretty fierce, and makes for good surfing! Munich is the largest urban surfing area in the world apparently! :D
Wow what a fantastic photograph! I didn’t know that river surfers existed!!
They are quite famous for it in Munich, and with all the rain and floods we have had of late, the river is roaring here… :D Thank you!
