I just wanted to explain my slight quietness in this neck of the Hampshire “woods” – you know it’s not usually like me.
I have been busy ploughing my way through a Digital Mums social media strategy course in the hope that I can run a few social media accounts for people at the end of it all. It probably comes as no surprise that so far the Instagram part of my campaign has been the most successful, you know how obsessed I am both with that platform AND photography.
It’s something I can do wherever we happen to be in the world (or not), and it’s been interesting to learn a little more about the behind the scenes part of social media management, even if I feel like I have been in some kind of hamster wheel for the past 5 months (and actually I knew more than I thought I did already!).
If you haven’t heard of Digital Mums before, they work with Mums to retrain them so that they can create flexible careers that fit around family life – which I guess I have kind of done with the blog for a while now anyway, but it’s good to expand upon this, and the qualification will be useful!
I have just over a month to go and to say I am looking forward to completing it, becoming qualified AND getting that chunk of life back is an understatement…
