She is beautiful. A lovely subject and I love the hint of colour around the mouth. Now I just need to decide which on of mine is going to be the lucky boobie. I think I am going to go for the left.
Thank you R. It’s funny, when we saw the “real” one in Verona, I thought she looked familiar. I had no idea there was an identical one in Munich until we got back! :D
I love the contrast of textures. The back ground is so flat looking against the solid 3d feel of the statue and the contrast again with delicate flower adds to the drama. Really lovely.x
If you visit Juliet’s balcony in Verona, there is an identical statue. Somebody (probably male) came up with the theory that if you rubbed her breast it would bring you luck in love… :D Thank you :) x

great picture – love the flower – did you put it there?
Thank you! I didn’t actually, just happened to chance upon! Grateful to whoever did though! :D
Oh, there’s a real story here! Beautiful contrast. I love the way bronze goes green as it ages.
Thanks Sarah… It reminds me of the statue of the lady walking outside Salisbury Cathedral, although that is really eerie when you see it at night! :)
The lipstick is the first thing that caught my eye, followed by the tulip pointing to the lucky boob!! xx
I saw the tulip first when I took it, and the lipstick afterwards… Made me laugh! Thank you xx
Fabulous shot, love the contrast between the cold blue stone and the bright yellow of the tulip… Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #71!
Thank you Madge. Glad you like it! :)
Lovely! Where is this statue located?
love
Claire
x
Thank you Claire… It is just off the Marienplatz in Munich, very close to the Viktualienmarkt… :)
She is very beautiful and this is a fantastic photograph, the tulip just looks so right
Thank you Nichola! :)
I love the contrast of the fresh tulip and the bronze.
Thank you. I need to thank whoever put the tulip there too I guess! :)
ooooh lovely photo. I am chuckling at the boobie comments :-)
Thank you Emma, I feel sorry for the poor statue, she must be sick of it! :D
She is beautiful. A lovely subject and I love the hint of colour around the mouth. Now I just need to decide which on of mine is going to be the lucky boobie. I think I am going to go for the left.
Left is different to Juliet, she appears to be right. Thank you BM! :) x
I wonder who left her the flower?
She always has flowers, and it intrigues me as to who leaves them. Perhaps I will hide one day and wait and ask someone who does…!! :D
She is rather beautiful isn’t she?
Thank you R. It’s funny, when we saw the “real” one in Verona, I thought she looked familiar. I had no idea there was an identical one in Munich until we got back! :D
Think the tulip looks great against the statue – lovely contrast.
Thank you Erica! :) x
She looks all serious and then she’s got that beautiful tulip :) Fabulous image.
Thank you Sarah, the tulip definitely sets her off! :)
Striking photography – well done.
Thank you Fiona… Glad you like it! :)
What a beauty… and the flower really adds a new dimension. Stunning.
Thanks for your lovely comment! :)
Love the expression on the statue’s face, and the nice contrast of the tulip. Fab photo.
I can’t decide whether she looks happy or sad or just thoroughly bored! Thank you! :)
She doesn’t look too impressed with being groped! I love the contrast of the tulip though, great pic
She doesn’t does she… Thank you :)
Lovely statue and photo. Did you place the tulip?!
xx Jazzy
Thanks Jazzy… No, but by the look of the flower someone had only very recently done so! :) xx
I played Juliet once….nobody touched my boob though! Shame…. ;)
Great angle and splash of colour.
Not even Romeo?? :D Thank you!
That is a lovely picture. I love the tulip and is that lipstick?
Thanks Alison… Yes, looks like it! I think someone was denied a Girlsworld when they were small! :D
She has such a pretty face for a statue and a lucky boob, that sounds useful, can I have one too!
Thanks Jess! Why not? :D
You have a wonderful eye for an image.
Thank you so much Bass, that is very kind of you! :)
Lovely photo, I wonder whether you placed the tulip in her hand? It is a lovely splash of colour against the mainly b & w photo.
Thank you… No I didn’t, but I am very grateful to whoever did (I will cross my fingers for them that they find luck in the love department!) :)
I love the contrast of textures. The back ground is so flat looking against the solid 3d feel of the statue and the contrast again with delicate flower adds to the drama. Really lovely.x
Thank you Sarah, I wasn’t sure if people would like this weeks image! :)
I’m loving this lucky boob idea! Totally male in origin surely! Beautiful contrast with the yellow flower xxx

Very interesting comments on this picture ;) ! The tulip on her looks indeed great. x
There are aren’t there :D Thank you!
LOL love that she has a lucky boob! This is really lovely. The tulip is a nice touch. One of my favourite flowers.
Thank you Laura… One of mine too! :)
Very interesting photo – did you place the flower or was it there? :) x
Thanks Lilinha – no, someone else did, and I am grateful to them! :) x

I love the colour contrasts. Did you put the flower there?
No, someone else did! Made a nice change from a half dead rose! :D

She is lovely, and a fab picture … I make wishes for your luck … will not rub her breast tho’ _/\_ xx
Thank you Helen! Luckily I am already lucky in that department! :D
Wow that is just beautiful..
Glad you like it… It just made me laugh that someone tried to put lipstick on her if you look closely enough! :)
What a great photo – the tulip adds a nice splash of colour.
Thank you VVV :)
she is beautiful and graceful…
why does one want to touch her boobie?
who an earth came up with that little gem?
If you visit Juliet’s balcony in Verona, there is an identical statue. Somebody (probably male) came up with the theory that if you rubbed her breast it would bring you luck in love… :D Thank you :) x
Lovely photo xx
Thank you Wendy! :) xx
Love the yellow tulip and her expressionless expression!
She is probably sick of having her boob touched! :D Thank you…
As soon as i saw this i knew it was juliet did you touch her lucky boobie
Not this time… You can see how one is slightly shinier than the other one though! :D
She looks very thoughtful. The vibrant flower is a lovely contrast!
Thank you… Normally she has half-dead roses on her. I thought the tulip made a nice change! :)
What a fab statue x
Thank you Shanaz, it’s Juliet of Romeo and Juliet (a sister statue to the one in Verona!)… :)
