We spent the weekend at my sister’s new house in Sussex. This beautiful mighty oak lies in the grounds and took six of us to give it a hug around it’s circumference (two of those huggers were aged 2, but it’s still a big tree!)… I wonder what stories it could tell if it could talk?
I took advantage of being up early to sneak out this morning and catch it just as the mist was rising. I couldn’t fiddle with the colour of this photograph at all as it would destroy the light in it. England is so beautiful at this time of year…

Oak trees are so beautiful, we have lots here too and acorns all over the farm. Sounds like a lovely place your sister has.
