Can you tell I am going through some old pictures this week? I can’t understand how I managed to miss posting this one before – taken at sunrise one morning during our trip to pay homage to Mount Fuji last year…I read somewhere that sunrises and sunsets are the most photographed naturally occurring thing on the planet. It’s really not hard to understand why is it? This might be my most memorable sunrise to date – although I am of course hoping to see many more like this!
Happy Friday everyone!
Those great colors make the mountain look truly majestic. Beautiful! When I visited Mt. Fuji, it was mid-day but luckily very clear so that we had a good view. I’m heading over to look at your other post now.
Thanks Michele! :)
That really is a cracker.
It’s a good idea to just create a post to fit a photo you didn’t use first time around. I have a few which missed the cut and deserve a blog mention, even if it’s just for me to ensure I don’t forget them.
I knew you would understand Trish! I hate having outstanding posts… We had a great trip to Venice last summer which I haven’t even written about YET!! :D
What an amazing picture! Would love to see it for real.
Thanks so much Emma! :)

Thank you Gemma. I promise I have done absolutely no tweeking or adjusting with the colours either! It was worth getting up for! :)

Thanks Sally! :)
wow!
Although I struggle to understand how so many photos of sunrises are taken – I mean, do people really get up that early?! really?!
I have lots of photos of sunsets – I’m definitely (usually!) up by the time that happens ;)
Hahaha… If I think it’s going to be promising or we are in a place like Fuji, I will set the alarm for sunrise, get out, hopefully get the pic that I want and then go back to bed! :D
Beautiful! Just saw the other pictures. Jealous!
Thanks Bianca! :)
Just beautiful, looks like a volcano. x
Thanks Mum, it is a sleeping volcano!:) x
