That color just jumps right out at you, doesn’t it? While Korea is definitely full of gourds and gourd relatives, it’s a little weak on the traditional pumpkin…missing them now!
That is quite a pumpkin! And judging my the colour, it must be a delicious tasting pumpkin.
Great shot, you have captured so much detail, especially in the centre. The green background is perfect against the orange too.
I love the variety of squash and fruit/veg that you get in German markets. Seem so much more colourful and varied than anything we see here. Lovely photo.
I might just make a pumpkin cake… If I made a pie, I imagine I would be the only person in this house eating it, and that would not be a good thing! :D Thank you! :)
Nothing with this particular one, I just loved the colours in the market… But we have pumpkins outside on the porch waiting to be carved, and I will do something with the flesh from those! :)
Thanks Sheonad! Not mine unfortunately, but I kind of wish I had bought one of these now, they are such a beautiful shape… Will be embarking on pumpkin cake at some point! Have you looked at a dream dictionary for pumpkin dreams? Apparently it can mean openness and receptiveness to new ideas and experiences! :D xx
