Arh, Mr Happy by chance????
I believe so! :)
Funny to see Mr Happy in German.
I thought so too :)
Haha Brilliant! x
Thank you Mama S :) X
Ah yes, good old Mr Glucklich – I think he used to sit next to my father in Synagogue. Jolly sort of chap.
I don’t think a comment has ever made me laugh quite so much – worth taking the picture for in the first place :) x
Mr Glucklich sounds way more happy than mr happy! I like German.
I agree, although it could also sound like he was choking… I like German too, I just wish I could understand it :) x
Love it!
Thanks Kelly :)
Funny that it isn’t Herr Glucklich?
I thought that too, will have to have a look to see what the other ones are called when I am in that shop next! :)
I was going to say the same thing. Why not Herr Glucklich? I would like to see Herr Geschmacklich, played by George Clooney.
Now that’s an idea! :)
A few thoughts that (tangentially) address the Herr vs Mister question. http://deutschlanduberelvis.com/blog/2012/03/english-on-the-march-lady.html
oh a german Mr Happy how nice :) x
Haha Thank you :) x
Mister Happy!
He was always my favourite! :)
Mr. Happy, perhaps. Mr. Smiley…um, not so sure.
hahaha :)
Oh, I’ll be calling him that now!
Me too! Thanks for your comment :)
Look fun and this would help with my sons German lessons x
And mine! Thanks for commenting :)
You can’t help but smile when you see his happy face can you? HOpe you had a lovely day today x
Thank you Mari! You too :) x
Haha! Brilliant :-)
Thank you :)
It is always lovely to know a story is loved globally!
It is isn’t it… Good old Roger Hargreaves! :)
Mr Glucklich? I wonder if it’s the same origin we get chuckle from – sounds like laughter.
Thank you :) You know it could be. Either that or he’s being strangled! :)

Thanks Alicia :)
Brilliant!
Thank you! Hope you’re well! Unpacked all your stuff yet? :)
Oh what a good idea – get the little one’s fav books in another language. *makes mental note*

Thanks Emma, you too :)
We have that same stack og Mr Men books in my daughters room, great for early readers
They are aren’t they! I am a bit sick of Mr Bump though to be honest, he’s my Son’s favourite! :)
Fabulous! I wonder if they do Mr Happy in Arabic and Chinese too? I’d love to see the translation!
Thank you! I wonder! :)
Oh I used to love Mr Men. Fab that there is a German one although not sure I’d pronounce it properly!
Thanks Foz… I don’t think I can either, don’t worry :)
Hi Emma,
We just donated all our Mister Men books……feeling quite bereft.
:-)
I am sure they have gone to a good home, to be enjoyed all over again! :) x
whoo love Mr Men books :)
They are timeless aren’t they? :)
Love it, reminds me of when we went to France last year and found Mme En Retard. Little did I know my husband took a picture of me holding it up! We love the Mr Men books though they are great :)
That’s brilliant! :)
Hahaha a German Mr Happy – brilliant!
Thank you (:
Is that happy party bags x
Not this year, but definitely an idea for next year! Thanks for that (:
