I love cities at night. I think you can learn so much about the personality of a place by taking a late night wander.
You might say that this post (which contains nothing but a selection of aptly named “Vienna by Night” pictures) was published for purely selfish reasons, and I probably wouldn’t argue…

I love these pictures. I think Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, although it has a troubled history for me (I’ve written about this on my blog if you wanted to take a look, but won’t put link here).
Thank you Sarah, it is so beautiful isn’t it? I found your incredible post, I am so glad that the cinema is still there so that you could visit it too!

I’m all for selfish posts – you blog is for you too!! Beautiful photos. I see so many similarities between Vienna and other European cities. A touch of Zurich, a smidgen of Rome and the archways are very similar to those in Turin. It looks fantastic.
Thank you. As you know I have yet to make it to Zurich properly, but we will one day! Hope all is going well! X
I always desire to take night time photos but inevitably I am exhausted and don’t want to go back out.
It can feel like that can’t it. Thank you Brooke! :)
