Good grief – my husband and I just had an entire conversation about this photo:
Me: “What a perfect way to wreck a pair of All-Stars”.
Him: “They could just be knackered, or they could just be plant pots inside the shoes”.
Me: “Yes, they’re definitely not knackered, although they’re not in a brand new condition”.
Him: “Actually, I’d go so far as to say that they’re definitely plant pots in there, as the shoes are in good condition. Although, I’m not sure if I’d want soil in and around my sneakers”.
Me: “Yes”.

I’ve seen that with walking boots but not with pumps. This seems more sensible. Better drainage, but probably only one season before they rot!
bavaria says
If they were past recycling, it’s still better than chucking them straight into landfill I guess! :D
Grace says
