Just a quick post whilst I cope with a baby with his first real lurgy, an absent husband who thought it was a good idea to book a work trip without realising that we had a three-day week here in Bavaria, and a couple of slightly more serious stresses that are just too boring to write about…
I do however have sunshine in various forms. The real sun is out and promises much this next few days, my Mum is here to help out, AND she brought with her the May Edition of The Simple Things…
I LOVE this magazine. I think I first read it at my sister’s house a couple of years ago, and promptly ordered my Mum a birthday subscription with the secret hope that she would keep the back copies and I could read them when I was back at home (it’s not available in Bavaria sadly)…
If you are looking for a lifestyle read that’s full of masses of inspiration (and beautiful images) in terms of interiors, food, life in general and of course travel, then I would highly recommend it if you haven’t heard of it already.
And if you have heard of it, and happen to get it anyway, then turn to page no. 58 and you might just recognise the author (and photographer) of this month’s My City Feature – all about Munich in May! It was an honour to be able to have the opportunity to write for such a lovely publication, and I will admit to still finding it slightly surreal each time I open it up to see my mug right in the middle of it…
That’s what happens when you are the photographer of the house – no decent pictures of yourself!!
I’ve never heard of Simple Things. Congratulations on being featured.
Thanks Tanya, seek it out, if you can’t find it it’s usually because it’s sold out! :)
Congratulations!! There is something about having your words in actual print isn’t there?! Looks great!
Thank you Nichola! :)
