When freezing temperatures meet fog, you end up with some spectacular ice formations… Mother Nature’s been busy this past week… Sadly life in the deep freeze has come to an end with warmer weather blowing in. See you again in a week or so winter…

Beautiful! We finally got some snow the other week. No way near as much as this, but I got some nice pics.
Ours has gone now too sadly (mountains are still covered though!). Back soon though by the looks of it! Thanks Liz! :)
I don’t feel as bad at the cold I have to face shortly as it could quite clearly be worse ;-)
Beautiful photos x
Thank you Cass! :)x
Just caught up on your snow photos…. stunning as usual. If I want to see any snow I have to continue visiting you here! xx
Thanks so much V. It’s gone for now. Not for long though! :D xx
Obviously you have had a lot more snow than us!!
I especially like the last photo. xx
We had quite a bit, but it’s all but melted down here now… More coming soon though! :) xx
I’ve loved your snowscapes this week
Sadly all melted now Fiona. We had freezing temps right up until Saturday morning, now we are having a bit of a warm spell, but winter is set to return in a week or so… x
Just beautiful, thought of you when we were in the forest last weekend enjoying a very brief winter wonderland! #MySundayPhoto
Aw thanks Mary… Our winter wonderland has sadly departed too, but it’s coming back soon apparently! :D
How absolutely beautiful. I particularly like the stark contrast of the trees and snow in the first one #mysundayphoto
Thanks so much! :)
Amazing photos, they are proper Winter photos
Thank you for linking up
Thanks Darren! :)
It is stunningly beautiful. I remember seeing hoar frost like this on the border of Yugoslavia (as it was then) and Greece, many, many years ago. This photo brought back happy memories. #mysundayphoto
Thanks so much! :)
